Planting description
Planting with a naturalistic look to revitalise and enhance the existing plants. Ornamental grass Stipa tenuissima provides interest through the year and brings movement to the planting. Silver leaved Stachys adds to the existing silver leaved plants . Alliums and summer flowering perennials such as Echinacea, Gaura and Verbena bonariensis work well with the grasses and add colour from late spring to early autumn including flower heads which can be left over winter.
We are simply thrilled with our flower border that Rebecca has designed. It is only the first year that the plants have been growing but they already look fabulous. Asking Rebecca to design and plant our border has resulted in a beautiful floral display that the bees and butterflies love. It has also allowed us to have different plants in our garden that we would never of considered using ourselves. I smile every time I look at it.
